County Louth Golf Club

A links course more ofter referred to as “Beltway,” this course is consistently ranked among the top 5 courses to play in Ireland. Just a 45-minute jaunt from the Dublin Airport (and 90-minute trip from the Belfast Airport), this course is ideally located. The club was established in 1892, giving golfers a taste of the old while still a favorite among golf’s newest stars.

'Baltray' doesn't disappoint

Yet another stunning links on Ireland’s East Coast, County Louth is also affectionately known as “Baltray” — and it is truly a golfing mecca. This club has produced a string of top amateur and professional golfers in both the men’s and ladies games. The club has also hosted two Irish Opens, one of which was won in dramatic fashion by the then amateur Shane Lowry. Lots of great holes here, but the par-3s are truly world class.
